Knitted fabrics are divided into two categories according to the weaving method, weft knitted fabrics and warp knitted fabrics. Weft knitted fabrics often use low-elastic polyester yarns or special-shaped polyester yarns, nylon yarns, cotton yarns, wool yarns, etc. as raw materials, using plain weave, variable plain weave, rib plain weave, double rib plain weave, jacquard weave, wool Loops, etc., knitted on various weft knitting machines

1. Warp density
The length direction of the fabric; this direction yarn is called warp yarn; the number of yarns arranged within 1 inch is warp density
2. Weft density
The width direction of the fabric; this direction yarn is called weft yarn, and the number of yarns arranged within 1 inch is the weft density
2. Density
It is used to indicate the number of yarns per unit length of woven fabric, generally the number of yarns within 1 inch or 10 cm. Our national standard stipulates that the number of yarns within 10 cm is used to indicate the density, but textile companies are still used to it. The number of yarns within 1 inch indicates the density. For example, the commonly seen "45X45/108X58" means 45 warp and weft yarns respectively, and the warp and weft density is 108 and 58.
4. Width
The effective width of the fabric is generally expressed in inches or centimeters. The common ones are 36 inches, 44 inches, 56-60 inches, etc., which are called narrow, medium and wide, respectively. Fabrics higher than 60 inches are extra wide. The width is usually called wide cloth, and the width of ultra-wide fabrics in our country can reach 360 cm. The width is generally marked after the density. For example, if the width of the fabric mentioned in 3 is added, it will be expressed as: "45X45/108X58/60"" that is, the width is 60 inches.
5. Weight
The gram weight of the fabric is generally the gram of the fabric weight in square meters. The gram weight is an important technical indicator of knitted fabrics. Woolen woolen fabrics usually take gram weight as an important technical indicator. The weight of denim fabric is generally expressed in "ounces (OZ)", that is, the number of ounces per square yard of fabric weight, such as 7 ounces, 12 ounces of denim, etc.;
6. Yarn dyed
Japanese called "first dyed fabric", which refers to the process of dyeing yarn or filament first, and then using colored yarn to weave the fabric. This fabric is called "dyed fabric", and the factory that produces dyed fabric is generally called For dyeing and weaving factories, such as denim, and most of the shirt fabrics are yarn-dyed fabrics
