To further enhance the electrical safety awareness of the group's employees and improve their ability to prevent electrical safety risks, the group specially invited Shi Jinhui, a safety training instructor from Hangzhou Training Center in the New District, to give a professional training on electrical safety knowledge. This training has received a warm response within the group.
As a senior safety training instructor, Shi Jinhui has profound professional knowledge and rich practical experience in the field of electrical safety. At the beginning of the training, Shi emphasized the importance of electrical safety in daily work and life. He pointed out that once an electrical accident occurs, it often leads to serious casualties and property losses. Therefore, it is urgent to master electrical safety knowledge and take preventive measures.
During the training, Shi mainly elaborated on the following key aspects in depth:
Shi elaborated on the concept and classification of electrical hazard sources, including direct contact with live parts and accidental contact with live parts. He vividly demonstrated through actual cases, such as an employee in a factory being electrocuted due to direct contact with a damaged wire, that electrical hazard sources are all around us. At the same time, he explained how to identify hazard sources in electrical equipment, circuits, and switches through visual inspection and instrument detection, and reminded everyone to pay attention to the insulation performance of electrical equipment, whether there are short circuits or overload hazards in the circuits, etc.
Shi comprehensively analyzed various common electrical accidents, such as electric shock accidents, electrical fires, and electrical explosions. When explaining electric shock accidents, he introduced the mechanism of current's harm to the human body, as well as the causes and characteristics of different types of electric shock accidents. Regarding electrical fires, Shi deeply analyzed the common factors that cause fires, such as short circuits, overloads, poor contacts, and equipment failures. He also used the case of a factory fire caused by an aged circuit short circuit to make everyone realize the severity of electrical fires. In terms of electrical explosions, Shi explained the principles and hazards of electrical equipment or circuits exploding under specific conditions, such as gas accumulation and high temperatures.
This was one of the key parts of the training. Shi detailed the key points of safety inspections for electrical circuits and equipment. For electrical circuits, regular checks should be conducted on whether the insulation layer of the wires is intact, whether the connection devices are tight, and whether the protective devices are effective, etc. At the same time, attention should be paid to whether the circuit layout follows the principles of safety, reliability, and economy, and whether it is far away from flammable and explosive items and avoids harsh environments such as high temperatures and humidity. For electrical equipment, such as generators, transformers, and motors, the insulation resistance should be checked to see if it meets the requirements, whether the overload and short circuit protection devices are intact, and whether the grounding is good, etc. Shi also emphasized the need to establish a complete electrical equipment inspection plan, clearly defining the inspection cycle, items, and standards, and promptly identifying and handling potential safety hazards.
Throughout the training, Shi adopted a combination of theoretical explanations and practical cases, making complex electrical safety knowledge easy to understand.
After the training, Li Minghao, the vice president of Dongjing Group, delivered an important speech focusing on safety production work. He gave a detailed summary of the safety work in the half of the year, affirmed the efforts of each department in risk control, and pointed out the existing weak links. Then, he made meticulous arrangements for the safety work in the second half of the year from aspects such as responsibility implementation and system improvement, emphasizing that this training should be taken as an opportunity to strengthen the safety production defense line of the entire group.
Through this training, the employees of the group have gained a more comprehensive and in-depth understanding of electrical safety knowledge, and their safety awareness has been significantly enhanced. Everyone expressed that in their future work, they will strictly abide by the electrical safety operation procedures, carefully carry out daily inspections and maintenance of electrical equipment, promptly identify and eliminate electrical safety hazards, and ensure the electrical safety of the workplace.
In the future, Dongjing Group will continue to adhere to the principle of "safety first, prevention foremost", and continuously carry out various safety production training activities to create a safe and stable working environment for employees and contribute to the sustainable development of the group.
